Lauren Ireland (she/her) is a writer and a SAG-AFTRA actor.

She got her sea legs at the 2024 Yale Writers’ Workshop. Her short screenplay, Ouroboros, was selected for the 2021 Wallachia International Film Festival. Faceblind Love, a short film she wrote with Trevor Williams, premiered at the New York Shorts International Film Festival in 2019. Her short absurdist film, Turyn Goes To The Club, was the official short film selection at the 2018 Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival, as well as the Best Experimental Short selection at New York Short Film Festival and Mystic Film Festival. It premiered on NoBudge in 2019 and became an official short selection at Katra Film Festival that year as well. In 2018, she was also a NBC female Forward Director's Initiative finalist.

She spent the past ten years making and doing comedy in New York and LA (you might have seen her at UCB, Joe's Pub, and The PIT NYC, to name a few.) She was a member of Pop Roulette, Rad Motel, FONDA, Gentleman Party, and Garlic Jackson.
